Summary
Milford, Connecticut is a good place to bring up kids - but the recession sees even law-abiding folks getting a little creative to make ends meet. Glen Garber's construction business is hit hard, especially after a mysterious fire destroys one of his buildings. But Glen's troubles escalate dramatically. His wife, Sheila, responds to their financial jam with plans that seemingly involve a secret network of Milford's wives and they are about to pay off - big-time. And that's when the accident happens... Suddenly it seems that the neighbours' 'get rich quick' schemes are more likely to get you dead, and Glen - no longer able to trust even the people he loves - must risk everything to discover what's lurking behind the town's idyllic facade... before it's too late
