This series of images shows an area from from Russell Island, Moreton Bay, in the vicinity of Long Island; and south to the Coomera River, in the vicinity of Santa Barbara, Hope Island; including southern Moreton Bay, Woongoolba, Cabbage Tree Point, Steiglitz, Jacobs Well, Norwell, Pimpama, and Yawalpah. Image 1 shows the Coomera River and the new real estate development of Santa Barbara on Hope Island. Image 2 shows the Pimpama River. Image 4 shows Behm Creek in the vicinity of the future site of the Horizon Shores real estate development; and Kangaroo Island. Image 6 shows the mouth of the Logan River, Little Rocky Point, and Cabbage Tree Point. The photographs were taken from a vertical aspect at a height of 13,000 feet on 8 July 1964. The album includes a map of the area with place names highlighted to assist in identifying locations for each image.
