Summary
This image shows the Nerang River flowing around the canal developments located behind Surfers Paradise. The Capri Bridge can be seen at top centre, connecting Surfers Paradise with the Isle of Capri. Salerno Street runs through the centre of the image, intersecting with Bundall Road. The bridge crossing the Nerang River, connecting Bundall Road with the Southport - Burleigh Road, is yet to be constructed. Boomerang Court flows off Bundall Road curving down towards the bottom right corner. The Surfers Paradise Primary School can be seen towards to centre of the image, directly below is the Lex Bell Oval. Situated across the canal from the oval is the Surfers Paradise Anglican Church. The green space below the church is now residential housing.
