- Summary
- Lachlan MacKenzie's world ended when Annabelle, his daughter, was murdered. And ever since then, the Dragon Laird of the Black Isle's life has been joyless, a mere act of survival....until Lord Sinclair appears at his door with an offer. Sinclair believes that Annabelle is actually alive and will reunite Lachlan with his little girl. But he wants something in return: Lachlan must kidnap the woman Sinclair intends to make his bride, against her family's wishes. And while it turns Lachlan's stomach to destroy another family, there's nothing he won't do to be reunited with his little girl. But Lachlan never counted on Sinclair's future bride, Mailie MacGregor, being so spirited...and so utterly irresistible
