Summary
In the autumn of 2005 , France experienced its worst violence in nearly 40 years. In three weeks of rioting, more than 10,000 vehicles were burned, hundreds of schools and public buildings attacked, and almost 5,000 people arrested. In February 2006, the programme returns to Paris to talk to some of those involved in the violence. What was behind such an explosion of anger and what is being done to stop the same happening again?
