Summary
January 2021: World War Terminus has killed millions, driving entire species into extinction. Living creatures are prized and coveted possessions; for people who can't afford one, companies construct incredible mechanical animals, to be passed off as natural by their new owners. They've even built humanoids who are just as convincing...
