- "A group of childhood friends must reunite to save all of humanity from an evil organisation that wants to bring about the end of the world. Chapter 1. Beginning of the end: In 1969, a young boy named Kenji and his friends write The Book of Prophecy, fanciful tales that predict a series of horrifying disasters in the future which ultimately lead to Doomsday. Years later in 1997, a mysterious cult being lead by a man only known as Friend has emerged and gained strong influence over society. A series of catastrophes begin to occur, mirroring the prophecies made up by the young Kenji. The friends must band together to fight the 'Friend'"--Container

As Kenji's friends uncover the truth about Friend they discover a New Book of Prophecy which predicts in 2015, at a church in Shinjuku, a saviour will rise to uphold justice but will be assassinated. Who is the saviour? Once again, Doomsday looms near..."--Container

The virus-plagued Tokyo is now isolated from the rest of the world with towering walls and oppressive surveillance.
